About

Seed Value Marketing is founded and run by J. DiMare, based in Ashtabula, Ohio. Every website, Google Business Profile setup, and AI-visibility engagement is built and managed personally — no outsourced teams, no account managers, no surprise invoices. Just a real person who has been building websites since 1996 and genuinely wants to see the businesses he works with win.

Building websites since age 12

J. DiMare was born in 1984. At nine years old he was taking computer classes at Kent State University at Ashtabula — learning Windows 3.1 at a time when you still had to type WIN at the DOS prompt just to launch it. Most kids his age had never touched a computer. By age twelve he was building websites, in 1996, before most households had reliable internet. He went on to study Computer Information Systems at Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School (ACJVS). After ACJVS he worked professionally as a film score composer — writing music for film, where every cue has a job, every layer connects to the next, and the deadline is non-negotiable. He later returned to Kent State Ashtabula to study Psychology and Anthropology/Sociology, and also studied Welding at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. That welding program is not a random detour — it is part of why he understands trades clients the way he does. The roofer, the contractor, the lawn care operator: J. DiMare has been in vocational training himself. He is not theorizing about that world from behind a marketing degree. The technical foundation behind every Seed Value build — the schema markup, the prerendering pipeline, the structured data, the Search Console workflows — comes from over 30 years of hands-on depth, not from a course taken last year.

What film scoring teaches you about business systems

Film score composition is not a detour from this work — it is the reason the work gets done the way it does. Composing for film means building a system of interdependent parts where every element serves the whole, nothing is arbitrary, and the final result either works or it does not. There is no almost. That same discipline is what J. DiMare brings to a small business's digital infrastructure. A homepage that converts, a Google Business Profile that ranks, a schema structure that gets cited by AI — each piece has to be right on its own and connect correctly to every other piece. The psychology and anthropology background adds another layer: understanding how people make decisions, how trust is built, and what makes someone pick up the phone. That is what makes the difference between a website that looks good and one that actually works.

The work, in plain terms

Seed Value Marketing builds high-conversion small business websites with a same-day preview and a 24-hour launch. Every site includes a Google Business Profile setup pass, SEO foundation, and schema markup. Ongoing hosting and maintenance is available month-to-month with no contract. The deeper work — AI visibility audits, citation building, entity trust signals, and review systems — is the same playbook that produced measurable results for Rockstar Roofing over a six-month engagement: 3× spike in website clicks, 30 calls per month, 254 direction requests, and a 5.0 GBP rating.

Why AI visibility matters now — and why most agencies are behind

Search is bifurcating. Traditional Google rankings still matter, but a growing share of buying intent now resolves inside ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Siri, Alexa, and Perplexity. These systems do not rank pages — they cite entities. A business that exists as a recognized, well-documented entity across structured data, directories, and Wikidata gets cited. One that does not gets skipped entirely, regardless of how good its website looks. Seed Value Marketing is one of the few small-business agencies that builds for both surfaces at the same time — traditional search and AI retrieval — because the same person who runs the work has understood how these systems work since before most of the industry knew they existed.

What drives this work

J. DiMare started Seed Value Marketing because he wanted to see small business owners win — the roofer trying to get off the referral treadmill, the lawn care operator who built a real business and deserves a real online presence, the contractor who is great at the work but invisible on the internet. That is not a marketing line. Sometimes helping a client win has come at a direct cost. The work gets done right regardless. That is the standard every engagement is held to. J. DiMare has completed Grant Cardone's 10X Mentorship and separately enrolled in Cardone's 10X Marketing program — two distinct frameworks built around the principle that most businesses underestimate what it takes to grow by a factor of ten. That mindset is present in every client engagement: the goal is not a passable website, it is a system that compounds.

Seed Value Marketing uses these service pages to explain the work clearly, but the point is still simple: get a stronger website, a clearer offer, and better online visibility before the current launch rate disappears.
